For various reasons, I feel obliged to give you insight on where it all began.

During my early 20s, I had the passion for sewing and designing and was eager to learn.

I met an older lady by the name of Mrs. Irene M.  A seamstress who re-created varieties of style when it comes to fashions. It seems like anything she touched turned into gold.

She saw the potential in me and wanted to teach me about sewing. She ended up showing me how not just to sew, but also to sew with skill, precision, and most of all...with love.

As an award for my consistency to learn; she gave me a gift, a gift that would change my life forever. It was a power sewing machine. So enthused about this gift, I couldn’t wait to work my magic.

After her passing, I think about her to this day. The gift she gave me  wasn’t the sewing machine however; it was the gift of giving and allowing me to pass it on.
